History

Byakko

This shrine is Raiden Jinja. It has long been revered by people as a deity for protection from lightning and for rain prayers. Especially during the summer months when lightning is frequent, many people visit to pray for protection from thunder-related disasters. Although I am a bit afraid of the sound of thunder, I would feel safe if I prayed at this shrine. It is also said to bring benefits for family safety, and people visit to pray for the well-being of their families.
