History
Dainen-ji in Yamasakikami-Notada enshrines the great power of nembutsu (Buddha-calling) as the core of Pure Land faith. The vowing power of devotees chanting Namu Amidabatsu flows abundantly here. In Otokuni's history-rich region, the nembutsu lamp transmitted through generations burns unquenched, continuing to receive pilgrims' wishes powerfully. This is a sacred place filled with the magnetism of vowing power.
