Karazaya Inao Jinja is a shrine dedicated to Inari deities located in Motokawa-cho, Naka Ward, Hiroshima. The unusual name "Karazaya" (empty scabbard) is said to derive from the many sword scabbard craftsmen who once lived in this area. As an Inari shrine, it has gathered the faith of those praying for abundant harvests, and has been cherished since the Edo period as a guardian deity of the community. Despite being in the heart of Hiroshima, it maintains a quiet presence and serves as a source of support for local residents.
