Kurami Jinja has been enshrined in the land of Samukawa since ancient times, enriching the lives of the local people. When I visited, the precincts were bustling with preparations for an upcoming festival, yet they kindly granted me a goshuin despite the busyness. It is said to have benefits for abundant harvests and family safety, and it has gathered deep faith from the region. I too, in this sacred land, wish for the further prosperity of the people.
