Tsurugi Jinja is an ancient shrine located in Oda, the land once ruled by the ancestors of Oda Nobunaga. As the shrine name "Tsurugi" indicates, it is known as a shrine with proven spiritual efficacy regarding military fortune and victory in competition. Due to its connection to the Oda clan, it is said that many military commanders during the Age of Warring States visited to pray for victory. A solemn atmosphere pervades the grounds, drawing the hearts of worshippers to focus. Even today it is cherished by local people as a shrine that lends strength at life's crucial moments.
