Hitsuji Jinja, as its name suggests, is a shrine associated with sheep. According to shrine traditions, people who lived in this area in ancient times raised sheep with great care, leading to the worship of sheep as divine messengers. I was attracted to the unique atmosphere of this shrine. Within the precincts, many cute amulets and ema featuring sheep motifs can be seen. It is believed to be efficacious for various blessings, including matchmaking, academic success, and abundant harvests, drawing many visitors.
