Kankyo-ji

This temple is said to have been founded in the Kamakura period. It is also known as a place associated with Lord Yoritomo Minamoto, and has been worshipped by many warriors and commoners. In particular, there is a legend that Lord Yoshitsune Minamoto stayed briefly in the Koshigoe area. The precincts have a quiet and calm atmosphere, providing solace to visitors. It is a suitable place to quietly offer prayers while feeling the weight of history.
