History
As a shrine descended from Kumano faith, it is a sacred place receiving a portion of the spiritual power of the great deity Kumano. In the Ayabe district, many pilgrims have visited seeking purification of body and mind. Inheriting the ancient tradition of mountain asceticism, it continues to hold sacred power warding off misfortune and guiding toward good fortune.
