History
Enclosed within verdant bamboo groves, this temple has long been cherished as a sacred sanctuary where wishes are granted by the compassionate Jizō Bodhisattva. The wind flowing through the bamboo carries the power to purify hearts and dispel confusion. Those who arrive with hopeful hearts find themselves enfolded in divine mercy, guiding their desires toward fulfillment.

Entry fee was ¥500 for residents of Japan and ¥1000 for others. Only a few other people there at 1:15pm—seems like a quieter temple. There was a good amount to see, including a small bamboo forest along the walkway up, giving it its nickname.
