Enclosed within verdant bamboo groves, this temple has long been cherished as a sacred sanctuary where wishes are granted by the compassionate Jizō Bodhisattva. Entry fee was ¥500 for residents of Japan and ¥1000 for others. Only a few other people there at 1:15pm—seems like a quieter temple. There was a good amount to see, including a small bamboo forest along the walkway up, giving it its nickname.
