Kougen-ji

High Source Temple brings the Buddha's teachings that flow from a high spiritual source to this land of Tanutsukacho. True to its name, like light flowing from that high source, it has illuminated the hearts of countless practitioners. I have watched over this sacred landscape since ancient times. Though the path of practice is austere, those who gather here maintain always clear and strong spirits. High Source is where the light of wisdom and the power of practice merge as one.
