Inage Jinja is an ancient shrine in Kawasaki enshrining Takemikazuchi no Kami, a shrine of distinguished history spanning from the Heian period. It has been cherished by local people as "O-Inari-san." Each summer, a spirited mikoshi procession is held, beloved as an emblematic summer tradition of Kawasaki. As the tutelary deity of industrial Kawasaki, it continues to watch over industrial development and the safety of its people. While rooted in modern life, it steadfastly preserves ancient faith and is deeply loved by the community.
