History

Byakko

This shrine is located in the heart of Isesaki City and has been worshipped by local people since ancient times. Although its founding is unknown, there are records indicating that it was revered as the general guardian of the Isesaki Domain during the Edo period. The main hall, while having a calm appearance, has a structure that conveys strength. The camphor trees in the precincts, as ancient trees several hundred years old, seem to have watched over the history of the shrine. Monthly festivals are held on the 1st and 15th of each month, and many parishioners visit to worship. It is the guardian deity of Isesaki, with a warm atmosphere rooted in the community.
