Byakko

Doryu-ji is known as the 77th temple of the Shikoku Pilgrimage and is an ancient temple of the Shingon sect. Its name is said to derive from Fujiwara no Michitaka, a military commander of the Heian period, and it has long prospered as a place of prayer for martial fortune and good luck. Located in the port town of Tatotsu, it has been cherished by people praying for maritime safety and business prosperity. Historic buildings remain within the temple grounds, and it continues to be treasured as a spiritual support for both pilgrims and local residents.
