Shakasonji

Shakasonji, enshrined in Maebashi's Motosoja district, transmits the venerable teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha. The Four Noble Truths and Eightfold Path expounded by the Buddha continue to gently release pilgrims from suffering. Standing in this historic locality, the temple has served as a spiritual guide since ancient times, continuously leading seekers from confusion toward awakening.
