True to its name, Taihikaku is a sacred place filled with the bodhisattva heart, bearing all suffering and extending the hand of salvation. 🕯️ 0 渡月橋南側から保津川沿いを上流へ約1km歩きます。途中から未舗装の細道になり車では入れません。駐車場は境内になく、渡月橋東の市営駐車場を利用してください。

🕯️ 0 川沿いの道の終点から寺まで約200段の石段（つづら折れ）があり急勾配です。足場が悪い箇所もあり杖の貸し出しがあるほどで、歩きやすい靴で来てください。

🕯️ 0 木曜定休です。嵐山の観光エリアから離れた「奥嵐山」に位置するため人が少なく静かな参拝ができますが、最終入場には余裕を持って向かってください。
