Gyakugan-ji
📍 Gunma, Ota · Gyokugan-ji, Ota, Gunma
History
Gyakugan-ji holds joint Goshuin (temple stamp) events with neighboring temples such as Johō-ji in Ota. I was able to receive the Goshuin of this temple at one of those joint events. The quiet and calm atmosphere of the precincts provides peace to visitors. The principal image, the Eleven-faced Kannon Bodhisattva, is compassionate and is said to listen to the wishes of people. It is believed to be efficacious for various blessings, including academic success, business prosperity, and family safety. I was also able to feel the pure air of this temple.
