History
As a Monjyu Hall enshrined in a cave in the Ukawa district, it is a place receiving protection of the Bodhisattva Manjushri of wisdom. Since ancient times, seekers of learning from the Tango region have visited this sacred place. The dim hall deep within the cave has been revered as a symbol of wisdom guiding from darkness to light.
