Izumi Inoue Shrine

Izumi-Inoue Shrine is an ancient shikinaisha listed in the Engishiki, located in Izumi, Osaka Prefecture. Enshrined beside the sacred spring that gave the region its name, it was ranked as a prefectural shrine. Within its precincts also stands the Izumi Gosha Sosha, which long served as the general shrine of Izumi Province. Visitors are enveloped in a pure and serene atmosphere that speaks to the shrine's long history as a spiritual center for the entire region.
