Yakushi-in Jinja

The Yakushi-in Temple that I visited is located in the center of Hiratsuka City and enshrines Yakushi Nyorai as its principal image. It is said to have benefits for recovery from illness and long life and health, and many people visit to pray. It is a place where one can be healed both mentally and physically in its quiet precincts. It is a blessed temple that has watched over the health and peace of the local people for a long time.
