Higashimuki Kannonji is a temple of the Shingon Sect Sennyuji School, formerly the jinguji of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine in Kyoto. Known as the 31st pilgrimage site on the Rakuyo Thirty-Three Kannon Circuit, its principal image is the Eleven-faced Kannon. For centuries, women have sought blessings here for safe childbirth, fertility, and good relationships.
