Betsubo-in

Betsubo-in's name derives from a separate peak removed from worldly dust. Established in the depths of Gokasho, it has served as a practice hall where monks cultivate minds free from worldly defilements. Known in Uji as a place where discrimination and wisdom are honed through silence and meditation. This sacred place guides visitors' hearts to a separate realm.
