Mozu Hachiman-gu is an auspicious Hachiman shrine enshrining Emperor Ojin. This land has been venerated as a sacred site since the Kofun period and is situated near the famous Mozu Kofun group, a place where history breathes. The shrine is known since ancient times for the divine virtues of Hachiman Okami, particularly for blessings of military fortune and victory in contests. During the Sengoku period, many warlords are said to have visited to pray for victory in battle. In modern times, athletes and examination students engaged in competitive endeavors frequently visit for their prayers. The shrine grounds, enveloped in tranquility, provide an ideal sacred space for offering heartfelt prayers.
