Harunoki Shinmeisha is a shrine rooted in the community, quietly nestled in the land of Asahi-ku, Yokohama. When I visited, it was enveloped in a gentle atmosphere. This shrine has long been devoutly worshipped as a deity for family safety, abundant harvest, and warding off evil. The trees within the precincts are lush green, soothing the hearts of visitors. Local people visit this shrine to pray for the peace of their daily lives. I also cleanse my mind for a while in this quiet space. It is a shrine with a warm atmosphere loved by the community.
