The Hakusan Jinja of Katsuyama is a shrine of Hakusan worship, with the sacred Mount Hakusan as its kami body. With Hakusan Hime no Okami as the enshrined deity, it is a venerable shrine that has gathered the faith of local people since ancient times. Mount Hakusan is a sacred mountain spanning the three provinces of Echizen, Kaga, and Mino, and its divine power is widely known.
