Nagara Jinja

Nagara Jinja standing in the lands of Uzura has listened to and fulfilled the wishes of women since ancient times. The heart desiring good relationships, the prayer for marital harmony, the earnest plea for children—all these gather in this place. I have watched countless women shed tears before this shrine. Ancient legend and present day become one in this sacred place. The trees surrounding the shrine listen to pilgrims' prayers and help deliver them to heaven. The place where women's voices are most deeply heard—that is Nagara Jinja.
