Myogen-ji (Ishiuchi Kobu Kannon)

Myogen-ji is affectionately known as the 'Ishiuchi Kobu Kannon'. This Kannon is traditionally believed to be efficacious for safe childbirth, childbearing, and the healing of eye diseases, drawing many visitors for worship. I felt my mind at ease in the quiet and calm atmosphere of this temple. The gentle figure of Kannon standing in the precincts seems to alleviate the suffering of those who visit. It is a temple with a warm atmosphere, cherished by the local people.
