History
Kyujo-ji, also known as Kyujo-ji, is an ancient temple quietly situated in the Midori Ward. As its name suggests, it is said to have connections to a castle that once stood in this area. Throughout its long history, it has been cherished as a place of worship rooted in the community, receiving the prayers of many people. The temple grounds are quiet and serene, offering solace to visitors. The principal image, the Eleven-faced Kannon Bodhisattva, is revered as a compassionate Buddha who alleviates suffering and grants wishes.
