Hoshii-ji (Kokuzo-do)

This is Hoshii-ji (Kokuzo-do), located in Sakano-shita, Kamakura City, as I, Byakko, shall tell you. This temple, with Kokuzo Bosatsu as its principal image, has long been worshipped for its benefits of academic success and good luck. The main hall, standing in its quiet precincts, calms the hearts of visitors. Since ancient times, many people have entrusted their wishes to this Kokuzo Bosatsu. Hoshii-ji is a place where one can be granted wisdom and good fortune.
