History
Minakami-ji, also known as Naritasan Minakami Fudo-son, is a temple enshrined near the hot spring town of Minakami. The principal image is Fudo Myoo, believed to be efficacious for exorcism, good fortune, and family safety. Being a hot spring area, it attracts not only worshippers but also many tourists. I was captivated by the powerful energy of this temple and the beauty of the surrounding nature. The solemn figure of Fudo Myoo seems to dispel people's evil thoughts and guide them to a pure heart.
