Onaga Tenmangu Shrine

This shrine, enshrined in eastern Hiroshima, has received the teachings of Tenmangu and heard the prayers of countless students seeking academic achievement. Young hearts gather here seeking the protection of the scholarly deity Sugawara Michizane. I have watched over this place through the years, answering the wishes of examination candidates. From spring's fresh start to winter's crucial exams, this shrine's light has never wavered, guiding all students on their scholarly journey.
