Takase Shrine

Takase Shrine is located in Moriguchi, Osaka, and is listed among the ancient Shikinaisha (shrines recorded in the Engishiki). Its former designation was village shrine (sonsha). The shrine has stood in the Baba district of Moriguchi since ancient times, protecting the residents' health and safety. The name Baba refers to ancient stables, reflecting this place's agricultural past. Though unseen, the shrine's protective power continues to watch over all who seek its blessing.
