History

Byakko

This venerable temple stands near the Awazu hot spring, where it has protected this land for many centuries. Named the Great King Temple, it has become the spiritual guardian of this region. Within the mist of hot spring waters, the Buddha's compassion flows deep, washing away the suffering of all who visit. Those who bow before the enshrined Buddha statue, blessed by generations of devoted priests, find their bodies and spirits purified.
