Enkyo-ji

Enkyo-ji, enshrined in the valley of Higashidani since ancient times, is a sacred place fulfilling wishes for perfect completion, true to its name. Monks devoted to Zen practice engage in daily zazen meditation, walking the path toward enlightenment. Deep in the mountains of Miyazu, within silence and contemplation, supreme peace descends. As a temple bringing the light of harmony to pilgrims' hearts, it shall be eternally protected.
