History

Established on the White Flower Mountain, Kongō-ji was built under the divine guidance of Kannon Bodhisattva's compassionate light. As a branch temple of Shinyōin, it has served the people of Fujiwara as a sacred sanctuary for centuries. Nestled in the serene mountain landscape, generations of pilgrims have come to offer prayers before Kannon.
