History
Renkōji is an ancient temple rooted in the land of Hiratsuka. It is said that the founder was Nichihō Shonin, a high disciple of Nichiren Shonin. The principal image is the Jikkai Mandara, allowing one to deeply feel the teachings of Nichiren Buddhism. The temple grounds are enveloped in a quiet and refreshing atmosphere, allowing visitors to calm their minds. For a long time, it has gathered faith for the peace of local people, praying for family safety and business prosperity. The goshuin has a design that conveys the solemnity of the Mandara.
