Kiyomihara Shrine is located in Ikuno Ward, Osaka City, enshrining Emperor Tenmu as its principal deity. The place name "Kiyomihara" itself is deeply connected to Emperor Tenmu. During the Meiji-era shrine mergers, Susanoo-no-Mikoto, Oyamazumi-no-Mikoto, Amenomikumari-no-Mikoto, and Kunimikumari-no-Mikoto were additionally enshrined. Long established in the Ikuno district, this shrine has been a source of protection against misfortune and a guardian of household prosperity for the local community through generations.
