History
This shrine is located in the center of Tatebayashi City and has been worshipped by local people since ancient times. Although its founding is unknown, there are records indicating that it received deep reverence from the Tatebayashi Domain during the Edo period. The main hall possesses a calm dignity and exudes a serene atmosphere. Within the precincts, numerous subordinate shrines and sub-shrines are enshrined, signifying its role as a guardian deity rooted in the region. Monthly festivals are held on the 15th of each month, and many parishioners visit to worship. It is the guardian deity of Tatebayashi, loved by the local people and quietly etching its history.
