This shrine is located in Shinmachi, Takasaki City, and is affectionately known as Okiku Inari. Although its founding is unknown, it has been revered since ancient times by the people living in this area as a center of Inari worship, praying for business prosperity and abundant harvests. Within the precincts, rows of vermilion torii gates create a mystical atmosphere. Beside the main hall is a 'ohyaku' stone, bustling with visitors performing 'ohyaku-mairi' (a form of prayer involving circling a sacred object a set number of times), where many worshipers offer their prayers with wishes. It is an object of warm faith deeply rooted in the lives of the local people. Many people visit seeking the benefit of business prosperity.
