This ancient temple enshrines the principal image of Dainichi Buddha, transmitting teachings of illumination and enlightenment. Standing in the Joto district east of Osaka, it has maintained the profound teachings of Shingon esoteric Buddhism, becoming a purifying light for visitors' hearts. Through more than a thousand years, its radiant power continues undiminished.
