History

Standing in Ikeendocho, Tenmyo-ji has watched over long ages. Like its name Heaven's Light, it has reflected the light of heaven while illuminating the darkness of countless hearts. Each time I have visited this place, I am captivated by the mysterious space woven by the silence and light within the hall. Its power to ward off fire, remove bad fortune, and attract new fortune is invisible yet certainly present. All who visit leave with lighter hearts.
