Omiyame Shrine is a Shikinaisha (Myojin-Taisha) and the second ichinomiya of Tango Province, enshrining Omiyame no Okami, a deity of performing arts and protection of women. Located in Suki, Omiya-cho, Kyotango City, the shrine has received reverence from the imperial court since ancient times. Formerly ranked as a prefectural shrine, it has long been venerated for blessing marriages and bringing happiness to people in the Tango region.
