Kasaishi Jinja

Kasaishi Jinja, located in Yuzukami, Otawara City, is an ancient shrine. The enshrined deity is Toyotama-hime-no-Mikoto, worshipped as a goddess of safe childbirth, conception, and matchmaking. Beside the shrine building stands a sacred夫婦杉 (couple's cedar tree), attracting people who pray for good relationships. It also bestows strong blessings for safe childbirth and family safety, quietly watching over the lives of the local people.
