History
Naganuma Hachimangu is an ancient shrine dedicated to Hachiman situated in the Naganuma district of Utsunomiya. As a shrine of Hachiman faith, it has long been beloved by the people of this region. While Hachiman is known as a deity of military fortune, this kami is also a god who brings peace and harmony. As the guardian deity of this region, the shrine continues to watch over the abundant harvests of this agriculturally thriving land and the well-being of its residents. The grounds are enveloped in a serene atmosphere, allowing visitors to offer their prayers with peaceful hearts.
