History
Suwa Jinja in Takadanobaba is a venerable shrine that enshrines the divided spirit of Suwa Taisha of Shinshū. Since the Edo period, it has served as the tutelary shrine of this region, watching over the lives of its residents. The deity of Suwa is known as a god of martial valor, bestowing strength to face hardship and competition. True to its nature as a students' town, Takadanobaba, it is a steadfast ally to examination candidates and young people in job hunting. Though small, it is a warm shrine deeply rooted in the community.

参拝後は周辺の飲食店が充実しています。境内は比較的静かな環境で、穏やかにお参りできます。
神社の敷地内には駐車場がありません。周辺の有料駐車場をご利用ください。車での参拝の際は事前にご確認ください。
最寄り駅は中央線の四ツ谷駅です。駅から徒歩約5分でアクセスできます。赤坂見附駅からも徒歩圏内です。
