Funatama Shrine

True to its name of Funatama, this shrine has protected the safety of sailors since ancient times, revered by countless seafarers. In the land of Chikusei, the fervent wishes of those praying for the protection of the water deity still fill the shrine halls. I have felt the peace in the hearts of those who pray even from boats upon the water.
