Tsubaki Jinja is a venerable shrine located in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture. It is said that the shrine received its name from the beautiful camellia flowers that bloom magnificently there. Since ancient times, it has been cherished by local people and has been venerated particularly as a deity of matchmaking and household safety. In spring, the camellia flowers in the shrine grounds bloom splendidly, bringing peace to the hearts of visitors. As the tutelary deity of the community, it has continued to watch over the lives of the people for many generations, enveloped in a warm atmosphere.
