Shōmyōji Temple

Deeply rooted in Kamigokawa, Shōmyōji has been a hall where the sacred chants of the Buddha's name echo endlessly. As its long-time guardian, I have listened to the sincere devotions of countless faithful practitioners. Feeling the peace that comes to those who call upon Buddha's name, I continuously pray for their blessed rebirth in paradise.
