hoshida jinja

Hoshida Shrine is located in Hoshida, Katano City, Osaka Prefecture, and was formerly ranked as a village shrine (sonsha). Although detailed founding records have not survived, the name "Hoshida" (star-field) reflects its association with the heavens. The shrine has long been a spiritual anchor for the local community, venerated as a guardian deity and a place to pray for agricultural abundance. Ancient trees on the grounds silently testify to centuries of continued worship.
