Along with the garden's clear spring water, it has long gathered the faith of the people. 熊本市電「水前寺公園駅」から徒歩約5分が最寄りです。JR「新水前寺駅」からは徒歩約12分かかります。
毎月デザインが変わる季節限定の御朱印があり、同じ神社でも訪れる時期によって異なる御朱印が授与されます。
前撮り・モデル撮影など商業目的の撮影は事前申請と許可証が必要です。個人の記念写真・風景撮影は申請不要です。
園専用の駐車場はなく、近隣の有料駐車場を利用します。正月三が日のみ東側に特設無料駐車場が開設されます。
