Yoshitaka Jinja

I shall speak of Yoshitaka Jinja, which enshrines Sugawara no Michizane, the god of learning. Legend has it that Michizane diligently studied in this area, and thus, it is believed to bring benefits for academic achievement, passing exams, and improvement of skills. It is enshrined in a quiet mountainous area, visited by many students and practitioners. The precincts are refreshing and enveloped in a solemn atmosphere. It has a history of protecting this land and listening to people's wishes since ancient times. Its teachings are still passed down to many people today.
